Nox is an action role-playing game developed and published by Westwood Studios and Electronic Arts in 2000 for Microsoft Windows. It details the story of Jack, a young man from Earth who is pulled into a high fantasy parallel universe and has to defeat the evil sorceress Hecubah and her army of necromancers to return home. Depending on the player's choice of character class at the beginning of the game (warrior, conjurer, or wizard), the game follows three largely different linear storylines, each leading to its unique ending. In the multiplayer, players can compete against each other in various game modes such as deathmatch and capture the flag, while the freely downloadable expansion pack NoxQuest added a cooperative multiplayer mode. The game was generally well received by critics and the media.
The multiplayer game types are similar to those found in online first-person shooters: deathmatch (further subdivided into \"free for all\", team, and clan modes), capture the flag, \"Flagball\" (similar to the \"Bombing Run\" mode in Unreal Tournament), \"King of the Realm\", and \"Elimination\" (deathmatch with limited respawns). The expansion pack NoxQuest introduced an eponymous cooperative multiplayer mode, wherein a player team must navigate through various locations, killing monsters and looting items. Originally, Westwood ran an online ladder ranking system of Nox multiplayer matches and team-based \"Clan Matches\" but it has since been closed down. The online services of the game were officially replaced by redirecting to the server portal XWIS[5] maintaining the game's online playability; a feature shared by other Westwood Studios Command & Conquer titles.
Executive producer John Hight said that Westwood was considering an expansion pack and a sequel to Nox.[2] The expansion, titled NoxQuest, was released as a free download on August 1, 2000, and focused on the multiplayer aspects of the game.[34][35] It included the last patch, updating the game to version 1.2, and featured a number of new spells invented for but not implemented in the original game.[2]
The Westwood-developed action-RPG Nox is a pretty old game, released all the way back in 2000, but it was a pretty good one by most accounts. And if it didn't set the world on fire, that may be in part because Westwood's star was already well in decline by then, and also because of the release of Diablo 2 a few months later, which very much did set the world on fire. So you may have missed it. But now it's free on Origin, which makes this a fine time to get caught up.
The Nox freebie comes by way of Origin's On the House program, which makes various games available free, for keepsies. You only have a limited time to grab them, however, and if you miss out, you're hosed. The tricky bit, such as it is, is that EA doesn't say when the offers will expire; I'm not sure what the point of that particular strategy is but the net result is that it's best not to dawdle.

Sean William Scott lends his pipes to Jack Mower, a young man transported to a mystical realm by a mantlepiece in the opening moments of Westwood Studios' 2000 action RPG \"Nox.\" You can battle the evil Hecubah herself by downloading the game below, part of Electronic Arts' \"On the House\" promotion!
To download the game, you'll need to register with an EA account and download the Origin client onto your computer. It's not aesthetically pleasing, but if you've been following this blog you should have already downloaded Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2, Syndicate and SimCity to this point, three great EA classics. Nox is another great entry in the \"On the House\" promotion. For questions on downloading, check out EA's help page.
Gamers who like their medieval combat chock full of creativity will want to check out Nox. With its 3/4-isometric view, fantasy elements, and epic single-player quest, it's not unfair to say the game recalls Diablo--but Nox offers much more freedom and flexibility. Clever players can create nasty traps and spell/weapon combos that, for example, stun your opponent, and then crush them with a huge stone Fist of Vengeance from the sky. If youVe looking for a fun, funny alternative to shooters this fall, Nox could be it.
You do not have to go to your home PC, launch Origin software and then download the Nox game. You can just open the www.origin.com website, login to your Origin account and then claim your free copy of Nox PC game. Later when you go back to your home, you can launch the Origin software and finish downloading the Nox game to your PC, install it and start playing it. The original game in the year 2000 came in three different CD-ROMs, but Origin provides a large single file download.
Electronic Arts hosts a promotion named \"On the House\" on its Origin gaming platform for the PC, where the publisher offers one free game for a limited time with no strings attached. For the past couple of months, EA has been offering 2004's Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault for free, but now the publisher has replaced this with another classic game, namely Nox.
The game is now available to download for free on EA Origin as a part of the company's \"On the House\" promotion. It is noteworthy that this offer is valid for a limited time only, as games can be pulled from the promotion at any time; Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault lasted for two months. Moreover, if you download Nox during this time period, it is yours to keep forever even if the game is removed from \"On the House\" deals later on.
The multiplayer component consists of modes that are normally found in online first-person shooters, including Deathmatch (sub-divided into \"free for all\", team, and clan modes), Capture the Flag, as well as other variations of competitive gameplay such as Flagball, King of the Realm, and Elimination.
Nox QuestNox Quest is a download-only add-on to Nox. It updates the base game to version 1.2 and adds to it a new multiplayer mode. Unlike the multiplayer of the base game, it is a co-operative mode allowing up to six players to fight their way through randomly generated interconnected areas. Player-controlled characters cannot attack each other and must work together as a party and protect each other in order to complete the scenario. All the characters start at level 10 and do not acquire additional experience; instead, they become stronger by procuring better items and equipment. Players fight against monsters who respawn indefinitely until the obelisks that generate them are destroyed. Other features include the necessity to obtain special keys to open chests and a save feature that teleports fallen characters to specific areas. The game ends when all player-controlled characters are defeated.

Yup..but its Genymotion. The personal version is free, but a fe eof 136$ is charged for the desktop version. It supports up to the android 10, but it doesnt allow for gameplay which is a huge no for me. Hope this helps!
I am not entirely sure if expecting so much clarity from an emulator that you are basically using FREE OF CHARGE is the best course of action. You could simply download this or any other game that is built for PC, just like we used to play NDS on Laptops and PCs back in the day. These emulators help you project the phone onto a big computer screen and you could use it for diverse purposes but gaming is a different thing that requires hardcore graphics, you should know that before expecting too much from it. 59ce067264
